This is a temporary design until I am able to build a visually appealing and full design.

I am a multimedia designer with a wide range of skills and experience. I am a recent graduate of University of Maryland College Park where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Media. I earned my degree in the school's Individual Studies program which allowed me to design my curriculum with the guidance and approval of faculty mentors. My coursework included art, graphic design, interactive design, music, audio, and film. I feel that my multifaceted knowledge allows me to understand and design media projects in and across many mediums effectively.

Web Design

www.sgxmusic.com - this is a site I maintain to share and promote the music I write and produce. The site includes a Flash banner, and a php/mysql hand coded news update system for the front page.

www.discmd.com - I maintained an internship position at the Lanham based Diversified International Sciences Corporation for three summer terms and one winter term where I did various media design tasks with a team of other interns. Most recently we redesigned the public and employee resources websites. I was in charge of the overall look of the template and banner along with various other duties.

OIRP prototype1 | prototype2 - I applied for an internship position on campus to assist with the redesign of the Office of Institutional Research and Planning website. I was paid to create two rough prototype ideas. I did not end up continuing the position. These are rough prototypes that use temporary watermarked low resolution stock photography.

http://art.supergreenx.com - this is an older art portolio website made for the final project in a computer graphics course in 2004. The site contains some samples of work done for that class and work done in other traditional media art courses at UMCP.

Interactive Web/Flash Design

Coactive - This is a musical, visual sound "toy" that enables the user to assemble the pieces of my original song "Coactive" in real time inside of an attractive and animated user interface that is intuitive without labels or recognizeable symbols. This project was my thesis for my Digital Media degree. A mini version appears at the right (Flash Player 7 Plugin required). Click on the squares to activate the sounds. Interactive Design Course Portfolio - This mini-site was built for an Interactive Design Art course. It contains four Flash art pieces, three of which are interactive (the third from the left is not interactive). The course contained a heavy emphasis on Actionscript.

Print Design

Throughout this design course we designed various print materials for a fictional museum sponsored by Bill Gates.

Music and Audio

I have been composing and producing my own music for over six years as a personal hobby. I primarily work in electronic/synth-oriented genres, but have skills in other genres such as symphonic/orchestral music. My music is entirely produced with various software applications such as Cakewalk SONAR and Project5, Sony ACID Pro, Propellerheads Reason, and others.

I regularly produce and license music for several computer game companies. I have kept a persistant presence on the web for about five years and have garnered a bit of a fan-base online. Roughly 150 gigabytes of my mp3's are downloaded from my site every month. I design, market, and sell my own albums online at my webstore and am planning on expanding and creating my own small online-based record label.

I have experience in all aspects of music production including composing, synth and sound design, recording, mixing and mastering.
